Trockenbeerenauslese, often referred to as “TBA” for short, is one of the supreme disciplines of noble sweet wines. Always rare and only pressed with great effort under certain climatic conditions. In return, the Trockene Beerenauslese rewards you with enormous fascination and a long shelf life. Fortunately, the Free City of Rust is blessed with a climate that allows the production of excellent dry Beerenauslese wines. The nearby Lake Neusiedl supplies the vineyards with moist mist in autumn, so that the grapes suffer from noble rot (Botrytis) and dry out on the vine - essential for a dry Beerenauslese. Our wine boasts another special feature: it is a cuvée of Chardonnay and Welschriesling, a rarity in the noble sweet wine world. It is golden yellow with a wonderfully lush scent of dried fruits, especially apricots and raisins, and there is also a touch of the exotic. There is also a magnificent melt, a refreshingly racy backbone and a never-ending reverberation.
